Manic Monks

by neonmeatdreams @ 2008-03-17 - 16:38:58

Like everyone else this morning I was reading the Metro and the protests in China and Tibet caught my eye.

Although i don't know alot about the situation and the History I found the idea of Buddhist Monks burning shops and cars rather amusing.

I always thought monks were the most passive peace loving human beings that walked the earth, willing to live peaceful lives, even if they are persecuted...

nice to know they are human beings like the rest of us?

I think its about time they stood up and spoke about whats happening to them... but all these riots lately.. like the protests over the olypics are getting silly... people need to chill out a bit!
